how to upgrade my iphone to iOS 7

The dust has now settled on the big keynote speech at this year’s WWDC event and iPhone maker Apple has now revealed what it has in store for its next version of its mobile operating system, and today we are looking at iOS 7 vs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and what’s not so new.
Apple has given iOS its biggest makeover since it first appeared on the original iPhone back in 2007 with the user interface given a transparent look, and we have already compared AirDrop with Samsung’s S Beam.

Quite often in the past Apple has showcased new iOS features that have been available for a while to Android users, but it has to be said that iOS 7 does look pretty stunning compared to older versions of the firmware.

The company has now added a way for users to quickly access the Command Center to change settings such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and more but there has been easy access to the Android notification bar for a while now with a quick swipe down on the screen opening up the options.
iOS 7 now allows for the automatic updating of applications which is another feature that has been available for a while now in Android, but it is still a welcome move by Apple so users can always get the latest version of the apps installed onto their device.
Apple has revamped Safari with new tabs that will prove a lot more useful but Apple made a big thing about quick access to other tabs, which is a feature that has been available with Chrome for around a year now.

The new Multi tasking that will come with iOS 7 will learn from the way you use your device to help extend the battery life of the hardware, which will always be a good thing. Now all applications that are downloaded from the App Store will support multi tasking which is something Android users have been enjoying for quite a while now.

Apple has now added swiping gestures to the stock mail application for deleting emails or archiving them, but this is yet another feature that has been available for ages in Gmail. There was also a new wallpaper that moved the background if you tilt the device from side to side, which is another feature that has been downloadable from Google Play for a while.
Another feature Apple revealed was the option of sending items from the Calendar or Maps apps from a Mac to an iPhone, which is a great idea but Google Now learns from your searches and has them automatically available on your various mobile devices already without the need to send them.
Now we are not here to bash a certain operating system as they all have their own merits, but it has to be remembered some of the options from Android 4.2 Jelly Bean are not even available yet to a lot of users on the platform, and around 90% of iOS users will update to iOS 7 compared to around 30% of users on Android Jelly Bean at the moment.
In a way it does seem that Apple is now looking at features that are already on Android and polishing them up before adding them to iOS, but in the end the users of both platforms benefit from the competition between Apple and Google.

Nothing we’ve ever created has been designed just to look beautiful. That’s approaching the opportunity from the wrong end. Instead, as we reconsidered iOS, our purpose was to create an experience that was simpler, more useful, and more enjoyable — while building on the things people love about iOS. Ultimately, redesigning the way it works led us to redesign the way it looks. Because good design is design that’s in service of the experience.
-- To silence a growing chorus of discontent against an operating system design that's remained more or less static since 2007, Apple needed to go big. With iOS 7, it did. Apple's crisp, newly announced OS update gives the mobile operating system a radical new look and some first-for-Apple features for iPhone and iPad fans, like quick-access system controls, automatic app updates, and Apple's AirDrop file-sharing system.
The visual overhaul, which becomes available this fall, is a clean sweep that changes absolutely everything, from the typography and color schemes to the typical icon and button shape across the entire platform. And we mean the whole thing -- from the Safari browser to the photo app.
While there are a few notable new features in iOS 7, the new interface is by far the platform's deepest felt and most profoundly changed of the entire batch. Apple's other features are relatively uninspiring and do little to challenge competitors; however, we have a feeling that Apple is saving some major reveals for its next big iPhone announcement.

Apple iWatch release date and specs and price : when will Apple's iWatch launch

The general consensus of the web is that the next major innovation Apple is working on is a smart watch. Here’s where we take a look at the Apple iWatch release date and specs. See also Apple testing smart watch designs.
Early rumours suggest that the Apple iWatch will not be just any old wrist watch, but more like a wearable mini computer complete with a full OS. Needless to say, it has got a lot of people talking. So let’s not waste anymore time, let’s dive in and take a look at what the web thinks it has discovered with regards to Apple’s iWatch. Take a look at Apple iWatch to lead 500m wearable computer rush.
Remember that we will be updating this article as and when news about the iWatch breaks (leaks). Visit
iPhone 6 release date: When will Apple's next iPhone arrive?

Apple iWatch release date

There are two main schools of thought with regards to the Apple iWatch’s release date. Initially it was thought that the iWatch’s release date would be in Q3 or Q4 of 2013, thanks to the loudmouths over at Bloomberg.
However, there has been a worrying lack of leaked information about the Apple iWatch as of yet, which has led to many to question the reliability of Bloomberg’s sources. Especially when compared to how leaky things get when we approach the release date of an iPhone or iPad. The result is a revised prediction of Q1 2014 from many other major technology websites.

Apple iWatch specs

Specs for the Apple iWatch are pretty thin on the ground right now. However, there are a couple of technology websites that have stuck their neck’s out and reported on what they’ve discovered.
One of the most interesting claims out there comes from the New York Times, where it says that the iWatch will feature Willow Glass, which is said to be so flexible that is can ‘flop as easily as a piece of paper in the wind without breaking’.
There also seems to be an agreement across all technology websites that the iWatch with support Bluetooth, in order forit to be compatible with other Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod.
Interestingly Apple has recently patented a clever slap band (think back to the school playground) related technology that communicates with the iWatch’s face in order to optimize the device for several cool features, included entering power saving mode faster when in the curled position.
In terms of size, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that there has been no official word from Apple, but that hasn’t stopped the web from starting some lovely rumours. The result of such rumours seems to be that we, the internet, are expecting a 1.5-inch touchscreen watch face, that is waterproof and shock proof.
That's about all there is to know so far. Pretty puny on the information front eh? Don't worry though, we will keep on top of this article with all of the latest release date and spec rumours, so make sure you come back.

Rumoured Apple Game Controller May Just Turn Out To Be Legit Read more:

Pocketgamer today says it has heard word from mobile game developers that Apple has been operating secret meetings at GDC discussing a game controller.

Long rumoured – and hoped for – GDC 2013 has finally provided confirmation that Apple will release its own dedicated game controller. Of course, there’s no official word yet, but Apple has been active during the conference talking to developers about its plans and ensuring plenty of games will support the joypad at launch. It’s been operating a meeting room at the show, albeit booked under a pseudonym company name to avoid media attention. However, speaking anonymously, multiple developer sources have confirmed the news to PocketGamer.biz
Should Apple’s rumored controller be unveiled alongside an updated Apple TV, such an event would largely confirm earlier rumors that Apple was preparing to make a push to turn its “hobby” into a much bigger pillar within the company. Those rumors had Apple revealing a standard development kit (SDK) and possibly opening the App Store for operation on its set-top box, two elements that would likely be necessary were Apple to release a controller for iOS/Apple TV gaming.
Apple’s iOS devices have in short time become a major platform for game development, with games from previously unknown developers going on to sell in the millions of copies. The touchscreen form factor of the devices, though, has to some extent kept them from functioning as serious, dedicated gaming platforms.
Some major developers have introduced ports of successful titles for Apple’s devices, specially crafted to suit the touchscreen. These titles, though, tend to be from a limited range of game genres.
In the site’s 2012 review of the 3rd generation iPad, AnandTech’s Anand Lal Shimpi and Vivek Gowri let slip a tantalizing tidbit when discussing the iPad’s faculty as a gaming machine: ”I know of an internal Apple project to bring a physical controller to market, but whether or not it will ever see the light of day remains to be seen,” the review reads.

What’s more Apple has been seen bulking itself up with patents that relate to a potential gaming push for at least a few years now.

Update :

It wasn’t long before the unofficial oracle of Apple, Jim Dalrymple of loopinsight.com rained on everyone’s parade. At 1:19 PM today, he posted one of his terse responses in regards to the rumors of an Apple gamepad. The one word assassin “Nope.” Considering that he is well know to have reliable sources within Apple, and that he had an impeccable track record when it comes to rumors, that’s pretty much that.
